Honey OatMilk Pumpskin Spice Chai
The craze for pumpkin spice everything during the fall season is not without reason. As the leaves begin to turn red and gold and the air becomes a bit crisper, we find ourselves craving a hot and soothing fall beverage. This pumpkin spice chai tea recipe is a light and subtle version of the popular Pumpkin Spice Latte most of us know and love. This recipe is perfect for those who love to enjoy the flavour of tea with just a bit of spice and only a hint of sweet.
Make your Chai tea
- 1 tsp of Organic Assam Chai (or whichever Chai tea that has already captured your heart)
- 1 cup of filtered water boiled @ 212 degrees F
- Brew your tea for 3-4 minutes
Pro tip: If you like your Chai stronger, add more tea leaves to your brew. Brewing your tea for too long because you want it to be stronger can actually make it taste more bitter.
Make Honey Oatmilk Pumpkin Spice
- 1/2 cup of oat milk
- 1 tsp of raw honey
- 1 tsp of pumpkin spice
Add the oat milk to a small pot or saucepan. Turn the heat to medium and add 1 tsp of honey and 1 tsp of pumpkin spice. Stir well, and bring oat milk to a simmer.
Pour the hot honey pumpkin spice oat milk into your freshly brewed Chai tea and enjoy!
