Candy Cane Cold Brew with Vanilla Ice Cream

This holiday cold brew tea is yummy and super easy to make. This drink is a minty candy cane black tea paired with the sweet creaminess of vanilla ice cream. Take some time to treat yourself and give this recipe a try! Or make it for your friends and family at your holiday festivities.

What you will Need

  • 4 tbsp Candy Cane Lane loose leaf tea
  • 1.5L Filtered water
  • 1 cup of ice cubes
  • Vanilla ice cream
  • Candy cane (crushed)
  • Cold Brew Pitcher OR any pitcher that can hold up to 1.5L and a strainer

Make your cold brew tea

  1. Take 4 tbsp of Candy Cane Lane loose leaf tea and put it into your cold brew pitcher or regular pitcher
  2. Add 1.5L of filtered water to the pitcher either cold or at room temperature
  3. Leave tea to brew overnight or 6-8 hours in the fridge
  4. Once the tea has finished brewing – strain the tea leaves out and your cold brew will be good in the fridge for 3-5 days

Make your holiday drink

  1. Crush your candy cane into fine pieces
  2. Grab a nice glass and add your ice cubes
  3. Add a small scoop of vanilla ice cream on top of the ice
  4. Pour your Candy Cane Cold Brew over the ice cream and ice
  5. Top off with your crushed candy lane
  6. Stir and enjoy!

Since the tea is cold, the vanilla ice cream slowly infuses the drink which gives it a subtle sweetness and vanilla flavour throughout and a lovely sweet finish as you drink more and more and the vanilla ice cream melts.
