Black tea with salted cream

This iced black tea is a sweet and salty treat for those days where you need to add some spunk to your regular black tea routine

How to make black tea with salted cream

Make your tea

  1. 1 tbsp of Modern Renaissance (we used this but you can use whichever black tea your heart desires!)
  2. 1.5 cup of hot water @ 212 degrees F
  3. Steep tea for 5 minutes

While your tea is steeping you can proceed to make your salted cream.

Make your salted cold cream

  1. Combine 1/4 cup of whipped cream, 2 tbsp of granulated sugar , and 1/4tsp of sea salt
  2. Use a frother or whisk to mix ingredients together thoroughly until slightly fluffy

Make your drink

  1. Fill a glass up with ice
  2. Pour your black tea over the ice
  3. Top your iced black tea with the salted cold cream
  4. Sprinkle a pinch of sea salt on top
  5. Add some more ice if desired

Everyone is different so play around with the salt/sugar ratio until you create a drink that has your taste buds craving for more!
